How to clear your browser cache

Learn a common troubleshooting technique if you are having problems using Dash

If you have been experiencing problems using Dash, but have found that things work fine when using a private/incognito window, then you need to clear your browser's cache.

To clear your browser's Dash cache

If you are using Chrome

To clear your cache on Google Chrome:

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.

  2. At the top right, click More.

  3. Click More tools > Clear browsing data.

  4. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.

  5. Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.

  6. Click Clear data.

If you are using Edge

To clear your cache on Microsoft Edge:

  1. On your computer, open Edge.

  2. At the top right, click the three dots icon, then select Settings.

  3. On the left-hand sidebar, choose Privacy, Search and Services.

  4. On the right-hand pane, scroll down to Clear browsing data.

  5. Click Clear browsing data now.

  6. Click Choose what to clear.

  7. under Time range, select all time

  8. Click Clear now.
